Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience
in U.S. accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in GAAP, excellent analytical skills,
and a strong ability to manage financial reporting and compliance with precision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements according to US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic insights to improve financial operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a U.S. corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Preferred:
- CPA certification.
- Experience with multi-entity or international accounting.
- Familiarity with tax compliance and audit processes.
- Background in SaaS, manufacturing, or finance sectors.
